She’s pretty, perky & ready for her Forever Home!
Introducing Megan, a two year old female AWS, with all the energy and habits of a normal active young dog. |
|
She came from a busy household with no time for training, so there is a need for basic obedience training. She has proven to be a quick and willing student, though. In the past, her exposure to other dogs has been limited, but she has been working very hard to improve her socialization skills and is showing continued improvement. Young Megan is learning the joys of a snuggle and how to enjoy a good back scratch. She is housebroken but becomes very busy and easily distracted while outside. Megan sits well and has a gentle mouth for taking treats and releasing toys. Her hunting potential is unproven, but she has shown drive, along with being a ready retriever. She is not gun shy. She is happiest with a toy in her mouth and her nose to the ground! The ideal home for Megan would have a fenced yard, and owner(s) that have a moderately active lifestyle. Ideally, they would take her for walks and engage in a good, long game of fetch. She is a typical young dog, with energy to spare but eager to be shown how to channel that energy into good behavior.
